How do you determine if its time to update your headshots?

Is your current headshot older than six months?
Have you recently changed your appearance in a drastic way (e.g., haircut/color, braces removal, weight loss/gain, etc.)?
Are you publishing a new book, releasing a new album, or pursuing a career on screen or stage? If any of these are true, it is time for you to update your headshots and begin receiving the calls for which you have been waiting!

How do I prepare for my headshot?

We work with professional hairstylists and makeup artists to help you achieve your desired look. While you are free to style yourself, we always recommend a professional stylist to ensure you are "camera ready." Your makeup should not alter your looks but rather enhance what is already evident. We also recommend using only professional HD cosmetics.

In selecting your wardrobe, consider:

Does your clothing reflect your style or genre of artistic representation (character roles)? Dress for the roles you aim to portray.
if publishing a book, who is your audience? Does the subject matter imply an expectation for a certain look?
what kind of imagery does your music/art represent or message does it convey?
what is your personal style and best flatters your physical attributes (e.g., body type, eye color, skin color, etc.)?
